Allow your optimism to become a brush. Take it to your imagination and ask what to paint. As you look for the colors, remind yourself that you have seen the rainbow...
When I learn to have the ability to make a brush out of my pen, I will begin to draw the present moment for you, then I will be satisfied with myself.
A good friend of mine, Reza, who is assisting me with this website told me that we have to include something interesting in this section. To find a solution for this problem, I approached it with optimism, a word that I have used many times in my writing.
Now is a good time for me to share with you what optimism means to me. Optimism is positive thinking about any matter. It is the beginning, not the end.
I asked myself, how can I introduce the idea of optimism into someone's mind or take it up one notch? So far, these are the thoughts that have occurred to me: What is the mental chemistry of optimism? This means which thoughts and viewpoints must come together, like a good team, to give birth to optimism in someone's mind.
If I were to get closer to it, these would be imagined:
I'm sure there are many other elements that exist, which I may not be aware of. Perhaps you can get involved and share them with me.
The Fruit Stand
As You and I Pass by I find it necessary to put up a temporary and invisible fruit stand that has an odd name, perhaps. Because the well-being of even one being is important, I have to be prepared, if one innocently ask “where and when and how to begin.”
I must caution to say that beginning doesn’t have a location and doesn't recognize the concept of time, which leaves us only with the “how.”
To begin, collect certain views that connect you to your own being…
Mental Garage Sale
Most of us have collected certain views and ways of thinking that prevent us from moving forward. I believe at least 15% of these views have to leave our framework of thinking. After the mental garage sale, new ways of thinking and different views have the potential to become the furniture you need to decorate this empty space with, in ways that make you feel good about yourself, everyone else, and your life.
Cafeteria
I believe it’s helpful to look at life as a cafeteria: We need to get up and serve ourselves regarding many issues.
Identity
Most of us search for identity in life. Before you go there, identify yourself in the present moment:
Am I a taker or a giver? Am I a follower or a leader?
Do I want my life to serve me, or I wish to serve it?
Am I a positive or negative energy?
How to Measure
Since we are influenced by the logic of mathematics and numbers, this is an easy one to get done. Rate yourself from 1-10 with any topic of your choice. Whatever number you end up with should lead you to many inner conversations.
Mindset of the Day
Try this for a week and see what you discover:
Approach each day with the idea that you have something to give to everyone and that everyone has something to give to you.
Then monitor how well you notice and how well you hear things.
Queenish Mentality
After having observed many people over a long period of time, I have the joy to coin the phrase “Queenish Mentality” which can be used both for men and women, people who expect the world to adjust itself to them instead of them adjusting to it. Usually, these people have not collected the views about their own lives and others.
Me and Me
I have learned to treat every thought of mine just like another person. We go for a walk to have a conversation, a conversation based on a simple question that I ask another person: 'Please identify yourself. Are you here to give me energy, or are you here to take energy out of me? Are you here to tell me to sit down on the couch?' Based on the answers they provide me, I determine how wide I should open the door to let them in. This concept has been helpful to me. You are welcome to try it for a little while and see if it works for you—treat every thought of yours just like another individual person.
Imagination
I think it is very healthy for every person to ask themselves if the logic and idea of imagination exist in them. You must be aware that your imagination and your list of wishful thinking are two different things. You have to realize there is a big difference between imagination and illusion.
Real imagination always requires effort. If you claim you do have imagination, you have to be able to rate it perhaps from one to ten. If you are not happy with the result, you are allowed to ask yourself why and perhaps you are also allowed to ask what event in the past has stolen the imagination from you.
And if you choose to increase your own rating, it can be done by associating yourself with someone who is trying harder, meaning someone whose level of imagination is higher, who finds themselves responsible for making their imagination a reality. It is good for you to know that no one in this world is responsible for making your imagination become reality."
Fear
Fear has many dimensions, and I do not have an answer to all of them. I have three views regarding our fears. First: If we are willing to pay the price, there is no such thing as fear.
Second: We usually glance toward our fears with the corner of our eyes, but we have the ability to look at them with both of our eyes. If we do it that way, most of the time the fear will blink. Unfortunately, especially during our childhood, we were told "to be careful, be careful," but they never told us what to do when fear arrived. Third: Most of our fears are homemade. It’s a combination of our ways of thinking that produces those fears.
